Born in 1969, married and has 2 children. Christian is currently living in Germany, nearby Frankfurt. Double nationality French-German. Studied Plastic Engineering in Germany.
Worked between 1998 and 2002 in the research and development of new manufacturing techniques for micromoulded parts, in a german public institute (Institut für Mikrotechnik Mainz, also called IMM) and then in a start-up company specialized in the commercial production of micromoulded components and sub-assemblies (company is called “thinXXS”) as Production Manager responsible for moulding operations.
Since 2002 working with Sanofi, in Frankfurt. Started as a Device Development Engineer for the first disposable insulin pen of Sanofi (called SoloStar™), between 2005 and 2010 moved along the project to Industrialization and ramp-up of external production capacities of SoloStar™ sub-assemblies at CMOs. Leading External Production Management of Pen systems from 2010 till 2014 until reaching the first 1 Bn produced SoloStar™ pen.
Moving back in 2015 in Device Development, and as Principal Engineer in the global unit Pen Platform Development located in Frankfurt, responsible for harmonization of manufacturing techniques for new pen systems. Member of various networking groups for plastic materials used in Healthcare (Polymerforum, MedPharmPlast Europe, VDI, etc..).
