Jeff has spent over 20 years in the field of polymer science and engineering both as an academic and as an entrepreneur. He started his career as a professor of chemical engineering and molecular biology at Princeton University, where he studied the fundamentals of interactions between living tissues and synthetic materials.
He left academics after ten years and started a series of companies that were each developing unique implanted medical devices enabled by advanced materials. These companies included Arsenal Medical and 480 Biomedical, which he co-founded along with George Whitesides from Harvard University and Bob Langer from MIT.
He is a Tech Pioneer with the World Economic Forum and co-chaired its Global Futures Council on Advanced Materials. Jeff is currently CEO of 10EQS, a global consulting firm that leverages the power of the professional crowd to provide business insights on-demand. Before joining 10EQS he was Specialist Leader in Advanced Materials for Deloitte Consulting. He has a PhD in Materials Science from MIT and did his post-doc in chemistry at Harvard University.
